Blue Lime Insurance Group is looking for our next Commercial Account Manager, with the career track of becoming an Operations Manager. We are tailored to protecting community associations and helping community managers by being a trusted risk adviser. This earns us a 95% account retention rate!  


Blue Lime Insurance Group is a niche commercial insurance agency that does only one thing – and does it well! – homeowners association insurance. The company was launched by professionals in the HOA industry because of the need for more expertise and more options. We now need a leader to take this challenge and bring the company to the next level. Additionally, we operate our own premium finance business in house, which would also fall under this position’s leadership. Blue Lime is operated by OrangeBox Enterprises, an executive management group that oversees the operation of a number of HOA-related businesses. 

Requirements

  What Qualities will the best candidates have?

  • An amazing team-oriented attitude! Egos, negative-nellies or debbie-downers need not apply!
  • The ambition to work toward the opportunity to become our Operations Manager
  • Great understanding of the operations of an independent commercial insurance brokerage.
  • Complete accountability for your accounts - Inside Sales, Renewals and Service Management. The buck stops with you to support your accounts.
  • Great experience and understanding of various commercial insurance coverage and ability to properly explain to clients how those coverage's apply to them.
  • Skills to present effectively to community managers, board members or company executives.
  • Experience working in agency management systems like EPIC, TAM or AMS360 is a big plus.
  • Valid Texas Property & Casualty General Lines license or is licensed in a state that is reciprocal will be required,  or must be immediately acquired if your current resident license is from another state. Additional state licenses may be required once employed. 
  • Experience in commercial property insurance preferred, but not required if you are interested in learning this industry and are willing to get your license.
  • As an operations manager you will be in charge of running the daily operations of the agency and will have a team of account managers and claims manager reporting to you. 
  • You will be reporting directly to the president and your ideas for BLIG’s future growth will be heard and strongly considered. Etc etc.

Salary is dependent on experience, but up to $50,000 to start
